- Use a Freytag Pyramid to map out the plot (exposition, key events, climax, resolution). See your notes as needed.
- What themes are important in this story? How are they connected? What does this story reveal about sport? About women and sport?
- How would this story be different if it were told using a third-person omniscient narrator? Why does it use a first-person narrator?
